Texas Invades Colorado
Our tribe here in Denver is a group that had its genesis when
two guys
lived together who were alumni of rival Texas colleges: Texas
A&M and University of Texas. In-state, this is the bitterest of
college rivalries. However, being new immigrants to Colorado who
like to socialize, these crazy Texans formed an unlikely alliance
in the name of fun. Then one of the members decided to get organized
and start a Yahoo groups email list, and the rest is history.
Basically, anyone who wants to do something emails the list and
says, "Here's the details, now who wants to go?" Events range
from rafting ( pictured above), camping, and bike rides, to charity
events, concerts, road trips, card games and just good old fashioned
